somehow, i have made the fingerings difficult cause its all sextuplets
and 16th note runs in cut time half the time. Im playing the Wizard
of Oz. I can get a sound out pretty well. better than some people i
know, but im sure he wouldnt want me to get into that. hehehe. just
out of curiosuty, wouldnt brass players have find it easier than reed
players to get an initial sound out of a flute since its kinda
similar. i havent played brass long enough to be totally sure. i
might be playing my tuba wrong if im wrong here.
anyway, im not fond of clarinet runs, so flute just makes it oh so
much fun. ive only been playing flute for about a year. i usually
play bass clarinet and tenor, so everything is a little odd for me to
be playing. then again, if i can figure out how to control my alto, i
should be able to control any ww. j/k cause i know somebody would
flame me on that comment.
