I did the program notes for this recording so it is not appropriate
for me to comment on it except to say that they did it in the NMA
edition with the measure in movement 5 left out as I recommended to
them. Done on original instruments and recorded in Boston.

It is not going to happen overnight. But in 100 years everyone will
spell it @-----.

I recorded the work with the Toronto Chamber winds. Dave Bourke and
I played basset horns. Nice recording. Lots of spontaneous
improvisation. I did the notes for the jacket. Not an easy=20
recording to get any longer. May be out of print.
