Stephanie - it _does_ list for around 5K. The store prices vary
considerably, depending on the demand, the cost of carrying the
instrument in the store, the volume of instruments the store sells, and
a host of other items (including your negotiating skills). Some stores
will list them around 2K, others at 3K. $2400 isn't all that bad - If I
remember right, I paid about $4300 or so last year for an A and Bb pair
of Festivals for my son. This year they'd probably be more. List was
around 10K - and believe me, in some parts of the world they have no
choice - they pay that kind of money for them!

It's better to be happy with the purchase and not compare prices _after_
you buy them - it always seems someone else got a better price :^)
