I recieved the above post from a friend, and, rather than try to have the
friend post, I resubscribed just to send this response. I apologize to
the rest of the list for having to deal with continued, boring,
unprofessional and ungentlemanly posts. But - some things must be
addressed.
First - I have written Mr. Pay several times privately in an effort to
appeal to him to stop writing regarding our past discussions. We disagree
on some basic things - and his position has been stated quite clearly -
several times and with many words and/or paragraphs, footnotes, etc etc.
While I find the posts to be informative, I am uncomfortable having to
sort through all the non-essential wordiness and dialogue that accompanies
a simple conceptual idea. Nonetheless, the point is that Mr. Pay
continues to digress using my name as an example. I am requesting
publicly that Mr. Pay find different ways to express his opinion. It is
tiresome and unfortunate that he continues to need to express concern
about our conversation. However - I gave him the final say on the issue,
and I have no problem letting things go. He seems unwilling to do that.
While I admire Mr. Pay's CD's and his abilities musically, I am unhappy
that he cannot understand this simple request.
Again, my apologies to the list for having to deal with this issue.
Hopefully, Mr. Pay will cease his endless and angry reactions to an issue
that was dropped many, many weeks ago. Please find a different way to
express your ideas Mr. Pay - other than to attach my name to it (that is -
in order to draw attention to a negative issue as in the above repost).
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Roger Garrett
