I can't resist whining.

You think that's a problem in just music? You ought to read what those
crazy wine writers and winemakers say about their subject. Sounds like
a fruit salad instead of a glass of wine. "Chocolately, liquidy, and
poetic" would probably serve as a typical description of a good Cabernet
Sauvignon. Maybe it is true, as one great writer put it, that "music
and wine are one," but as a fermentation scientist, I sometimes find it
regrettable.
