I'm not surprised as I am confused and I wrote it, but it was late :-)

The Bb clarinet is a brighter sounding instrument than the A, this is due
to a variety of reasons not least of all pitch. I was trying to say that I
preferred the sound of the RC in the Bb version and the sound of the R13 in
the A version.

To Paulette who said that this would lead to them sounding more alike, yes
you are probably right but that is what I preferred and I stress that it is
only my opinion.
