I've been meaning to post this since the subject first arose a few weeks
ago. In 1983, Stephen Lee Clark did a Doctoral Dissertation about
Russianoff. It includes a biography, a section on teaching philosophy and
methodology, and interviews with some selected students - among them
Michele Zukovsky, Larry Combs, and Stanley Drucker.

You can get this dissertation from University Microfilms (UMI) by:

1.) calling 1(800) 521-0600 (in the USA), or,

2.) visiting <http://wwwlib.umi.com>

to place an online order. You can get an unbound copy (8.5 X 11) for
$29.50 (US $). I took mine to Kinkos and got it bound for $2 or so.

It's a dissertation you can actually stand to read, and I highly
recommend it.
