Thank you for answering my question. It looks by the serial number that
mine has to be older. It is really a beautiful instrument. The wood is a
richer brown... and the grain of the wood shows through.
I also found the other clarinet..... this clarinet is made so well. The
holders of the springs, where you, on other clarinets can un-catch them
from the other side where it sits in a groove.-- This one has "barrels that
the spring fits into them. The rings on each joint, look like the buffet
also.....
it says on the wood on the 2nd joint, "made in France"
The serial number is *1 22754..... and the model is a
Pierre Maure.
Have you ever heard of it?
Question for both........ What do you think of your clarinet that you
bought.... and what do you think about the quality?
Where would I look to find out more about both of the names??
Is there a source to go to???
