Subject: The Bb sounds different
Hi
How can it be, that my clarinet sounds more "airy" when I play the midle Bb
and A? Dont tell me: it is my embouchure?!
Also, do you know if the Noblet clarinet is a beginner or a pro?
Regards
Steen

Clarinet's do have a different tone quality when playing the Bb, and also
the low C# (notice that one too?). The remedy is to use alternate
fingerings (resonance fingerings) to make the note more clear (for the Bb
and A). There is also a register tube that Abe Galper designed that clears
up the Bb, but that's another topic.
