I wonder if a hot-wire mass flow rate sensor, such as used in many current
fuel-injected automobiles (Bosch Motronic system, etc.) might be used to
measure air flow in a clarinet? The hot wire could be installed in the
barrel, and being very thin, would be practically non-invasive.
