Have you checked your machine against another reference?
I'm not suggesting there isn't a problem, but I have seen expensive
machines mis-calibrated by as much as 20 cents, and this could be
exaggerating the problem.
It's worth checking against another reference.
If the machine is sharp, then perhaps you have flexability to
lip up most of the instrument but not so easily at the bottom of the horn.
