IMHO, your topic is too broad and that's why you're having trouble
identifying material. Why not stick to one or two examples. You could
easily write a whole paper about Verdi's Nabucco, the Biblical source
(Book of Ezekial), and Verdi's use of the story to make a political
point that is very different from the Biblical message. Saint Saens'
use of the Samson and Delilah story might also make a good paper.
