Oh, I know about editor wars, but I didn't say, 'the best', I said 'a
good one'.
In particular, I was just trying to elicit the name of a freeware email
editor that will handle quotes elegantly (which is what is often a
difficulty -- you need to keep some context, but as soon as you try to
edit the context you get in a mess). If someone knows of one, they
could tell us.
I don't think it would start a war, here, would it?
