Subj: [kl] Ear Training Software

Hello,

I'm trying to find some ear-training software for windows which will
help my students (and me too) perfect the skill of noticing differences
between two notes (sharp, flat, how much). All software I've found will
do interval, rhythm and/or sightsinging training, but pitch discrepancy
is, in my humble opinion, a critical performance skill that is often
overlooked in ear training.

I did manage to find a link on Harmony Central's web site for software
on the Mac which would allow you to tune chords by moving slider
controls for each note of the chord and also would play two pitches and
succession which would ask you to say whether the second was flat or
sharp to the first.

But, I can't find anything for windows.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jeff
