Brilliant! In same vain: I once played the Beethoven Prometheus Basset-horn
solo with bassetclarinet(modern) in the rehearsal. I think it went into a
flat major...The only reason was that we could not get an instrument.
I think i had to go up only on three last notes. A friend of mine did get an
instrument in the end and played it in concert. There is a piece that should
be played more...
