Hi Mike:

Actually, I wrote that excerpt about H. Robert Reynolds conducting all of
the National Honor Bands. I certainly did NOT mean for that to be taken as
a criticism, just a comment. The only problem I had with it was that, (for
my students and others that were in more than one national honor band),
they had to play basically the same program twice.

Actually, I already knew that he had a serious heart attack, but I didn't
want to talk about that on the list, not that there would be anything wrong
with doing so. It's just that I would not be able to give totally accurate
accounts of his situation and I didn't want to have to speculate. By the
way, I took the liberty of identifying the writers of segments below.
