Subject: Baerman 4th Division and Malcolm Arnold's Fantasy for Clarinet
We are looking for Carl Baerman's Clarinet Method, 4th Division. Our
usual music supplier (Dale Music, Silver Spring) informs me that it is
no longer listed in the Carl Fischer catalog. What's the deal here?
Also, we are trying to buy Fantasy for Clarinet, Op.87, by Malcolm
Arnold. My son learned it from a photocopy and he has lost the first
two pages (so we're not sure who the publisher is). Dale Music will
check with Alfred Lengnick in Paris (because Lengnick publishes other
Malcolm Arnold clarinet pieces). I'm afraid that this may take several
months and we would like a bona fide version sooner than that. Any
ideas?

A couple of options. Hite Artistic studies Vol 2 - German has a compilation
of the book 4 and 5. under $12! Southern Music publishes it.
Also the Baermann op 64 were done on Music Minus One by John Cipolla. Comes
with the music and Accompaniment CD. MMO 3241
