One chronic problem I have is that duets are frequently unequal. That is the
first part has the melody and the second part has quarter notes or an Alberti
bass-like part. For students that are not real advanced I love the Clarinet
Twosome by Leon Lester. It has a nice range and both players get a chance to
shine.
