Actually, dumb luck would have it that my mouthpiece cap fits just fine
sitting over my string ligature. Gets "stuck" at just the right point so it
doesn't go down too far. I use those really cheap two dollar black plastic
caps that don't make much noise when they fall on the floor. (Which I
obviously can't remember the name of.)
