Hi Vickie,
I've had all my students use the Rovner Dark for years, but we recently
tried the Rovner "Eddie Daniels II".........BIG IMPROVEMENT!!
I tried the Harrison several years ago and was not that impressed. The only
other ligature I've been impressed by was the Winslow. I found you could
get almost any type of sound you wanted with it, but making the adjustments
was a lot of trouble and I find it bulky and ugly looking, (not that that
should necessarily be a consideration). With the Eddie Daniels, there is
not nearly as much variety available, but the type of sound I'm interested
in is available.
