Mark,

I certainly don't want anyone thinking I was a fool, so here's the dope.
Without going into great detail, this is what came down. I was
participating in a fundraiser for a school band. Someone challenged me that
he could raise more money than I could. I have a relative who regularly
contributes to this fundraiser and does so in large sums. We were
discussing this pink clarinet and the fact that the bids were so high on it.
He said that he would triple the top bid and pay for the purchase of the
clarinet if I was the top bidder. I made the top bid, got the school a
clarinet for it's music program, earned the school $2580.00 for their
instrument fund and won a $50.00 bet. OK? ;-)

Nancy

P.S. The clarinet is not old. It is in like new condition.
