Dear Corrie, Like Jon, I only have vol.2, so I would naturally like to obtain
vol. 1. There is so much excellent material, I really wonder what I'm missing
in the more basic vol. 1. Count me in on the list!
btw, Ken, there was a huge list of former Russianoff students who
contributed to the 2 issues of the Clarinet, Vol. 18, Nos. 1 &2, from 1990-91,
wherein a tribute to Russianoff was printed. Some of them: Franklin Cohen,
Larry Combs, Stanley & Naomi Drucker, Charles Neidich, Michael Borschel, Ted
Cole, Gerry Errante, Phil Fath, Stephen Girko, Alan Greenfield, Jimmy
Hamilton, Kathy Jones, Judith Kalin-Freeman, David Krakauer, Reesa Gringorten,
Anita Garriott, Dan Johnston, Mary Jane Kubeck-Rodgers, James Manishen, John
Marco, Bill McColl, Heather Monkhouse, Marjorie O'Brien, Morrie Sherry, Bonnie
Isbey Sholl, Aaron Silberman, Michael Sussman, Kathryn Taylor, Chuck West, Bob
Wilbur, Robert Yamins, and Benny Goodman.
Some of these people are household names(in clarinet households, that
is!<g>), and others not. Any of you all out there who might like to take up
Ken's idea and solicit the publisher for a reprint?
