We cannot suggest to you whether you should get your "A" worked on to
play for the competition in 2 months, because we have never seen it
before. This would has to be something for you to decided. There are many
Concerti for Bb, ie.. any Stamitz Concerti, Weber Concerti, Spohr, I
believe Bruch has one. They are out there!
