My extended family on my Mom's side is from Warda - 9 miles from Giddings
and about 20 miles from LaGrange. I spent many summers there. Sounds
like you're a hoot 'n' a holler away - Texas style.
Are there any private/parochial schools near you? I know there are many
in Texas and that may be a resource to find a private teacher lurking at
one - content to pass along what he/she knows and rejoicing in their
student's achievements, and making them theirs.
