Hello everyone.

I have been playing woodwinds for over 35 years. In my training in college, I
went through periods where I cut and sanded reeds, but I have never been one
to mechanically inclined in this department. I eventually gave it up and
spent a fortune on boxes of reeds choosing to play the good ones into the
ground and keeping the weak ones in storage drawers. Now, I find myself
really wanting to become proficient in all areas of performance and teaching
and I would like some pointers on clipping, sanding and reed rush, etc.

I have been very successful as a performer but I feel really lacking in this
"art".
