Well all I can say is the members of the various community bands I have
belonged to really seem to like my Bb playing.

My husband plays sax so maybe that affects his judgement.

We have radically different preferences in performers. In country western
music I like Dolly Parton and he can't stand her. In opera, prefers
Pavarotti while I would take Domingo any day.
