I have a problem that has bothered me for several years. When playing the A 2
spaces above the staff, (thumb and 2 fingers of left hand) I can too easily
get the 6th above it (not in tune). >>

Jack....my guess is that you're biting. Take a little more mouthpiece in your
mouth, open your mouth, drop your jaw, and round and focus your embouchure.
This should get you over the problem after a week or so of practising this
way.
