Hmm.I read in many articles that every professional clarinet player have =
a
definite way of reed beak-in method. For example, after they purchased a b=
ox
of reeds, they dip them in a water 20 minutes a day, and after doing this=
at
least two weeks they start to sand-paper their bottom and use them 5 minu=
tes
a day starting from the first octave(start using them in full range of
octaves seems ridiculous).I thought this is a kind of cliche to every
clarinetist. That's why I am a little confused why so many people don't li=
ke
V12 reeds.

here is a thought. I have been having trouble with my V-12 3 1/2's also,
so I switched to 4's. The reason I think I was having trouble was because
of weather. I don't know about you guy, but the 4's seem to respond like
my 3 1/2's did. I am anticipating having to switch back toward spring, bu=
t
that is still undetermined. Just a thouht you might want to consider.
