Well today I bought an old student, plastic (Selmer Bundy) Eb soprano =
clarinet that I saw in the pawn shop just for the fun of it. However I =
have two questions.

1. What was the method to clean out the deposits in a mouthpiece? I =
know I've seen it but don't remember. I have sanitized it but that =
doesn't remove the deposits of course.

2. If someone would recommend a reed brand and strength based on the =
information that on my Bb, I normally use either a regular Vandoren 3 =
1/2 or a Mitchell Lurie 4, I would appreciate it.

So far, I replaced the one bad pad just to get it playing. Eventually, =
I will probably go through it just to see what I can do with it to bring =
it up to the best that it is capable of.

Interestingly enough, my husband likes the sound of the Eb better than =
the Bb.
