Here's a good one gang.

Today at the bookstore I ran across a recording of Bloch's "Hebrew Rhapsody" -
originally for cello and orchestra - performed by Fiedman on the bass
clarinet. I HAD to buy it!

Admittedly, I do not know the piece. The liner notes indicate that Bloch
originally intended the piece for baritone voice, and only changed it to cello
when a Russian cellist asked the composer for a concerto.

I've so far listened only superficially, but what I hear sounds acceptable.

What are your opinions out there?

Dan Leeson?
