Roger...I think your post was one of the MOST valuable that a young, up and
coming player could read! There are no absolutes! What works well for one
could be a disaster for another. Just because So-and-So plays an XYZ Clarinet,
with an ABC barrel, and an XXX mouthpiece, and a YYY reed, and a ZZZ
mouthpiece DOES NOT MEAN that another player could get the same results with
the same equipment!

The ONLY rule....be flexible!
