*giggle* I remember one concert where I was singing in a massed choir at the
NAC (National Arts Centre in Ottawa) and the 3rd horn player was supposed to
stand up and make a duck noise for part of ... I forget what it was called
-- the Toy Symphony, maybe? We were doing a set of children's concerts
about Handel or Hayden, I think.

Anyhow, this poor french horn player was having an awful time getting his
cue (and those of us in the soprano section were wondering if we shouldn't
get someone to kick him or something). Came performance time and as the
conductor moved to cue him, he noticed that the horn player was staring off
into space, *again*... So, rather than let the cue get missed, the
conductor proceeded to quack. :)
