There is a picture of this Bis key in the Thurston Tutor -"The Clarinet =
- A Comprehensive Method for the Boehm Clarinet". I have a very old copy =
but the clearest picture is figure 18 on page 18. This may be on a =
different page on more recent reprints than the 1966 edition.

Yes, this has been done. Santy Runyon developed a mechanism for a "bis"
key. I think it's a simple addition. Santy's shop is in Oppolousas, =
(sp?),
Louisiana, I don't know the address, but I'm sure you could get it from =
WW
& BW, (for example), or anyone else who sells his products. It makes a
great addition, especially for jazz players who double on saxophone.
