I heard of Moennig barrels but have never tried it. Only what I know is t=
hat
Mr.David Hite explains in detail their original dimensions and how they
should be reamered and tamed with MP and the instrument in his HP. I don'=
t
know what the present Moennigs' dimensions are. See below link. You may be
able to request info to him directly.

>I took my clarinet into the shop today to have my new Chadash barrel fit=

to
>the upperjoint, it was getting stuck. The repairman, who is a reputable
man
>from New York who is now living in Florida (I have decided against givin=

>the measurements of the Chadash were exactly those of Hans Moennig's
original
>measurements. Since these Chadash barrels play so differently from my
Moennig
>ones, I was surprised of this information. He added that after Moennig'=
s
>death Buffet had altered or changed the dimentions of the "Moennig barre=
l,"
>or just didn't maintain the control over the product with the amount of

What
>are these measurements and are they copyrighted? By whom? Does anyone
believe
>that I was given erroneous information? Did Chadash work with Moennig?
>Many Thanks
