Try (CAREFULLY, and a little bit at a time!) sanding the cork down with
sandpaper until it fits easier. Remember, it is much easier to take a
little more off that it is to add some back if it gets too loose! If that
frightens you, try leaving the neck and body assembled all the time until
the cork compresses some.
