The train ride between Brussels and Ostend is comfortable and with no
changing (Is it really two hours? I did it in July and it seemed like less)
The train is modern with LCD announcements of the next stop (you don't need
it as Ostend is the last stop but it's kinda neat) changing from French to
Dutch as the train crosses the language-border.

What about Iceland Airways? Don't they fly from NY to Luxembourg? The stop in
Rekjavik could be interesting. I've always wanted to do it. And they're
supposed to be the cheapest.... Good luck and see you in Ostend!
