Several times in recent weeks I have seen Elmer's name pop-up in posts. For
those who dont know, Elmer worked for Leblanc, up in Racine WI.

He was an expert mouthpiece refacer, among many other talents, and was very
modest about his ability. He helped me a great deal with my bass clarinet
playing....a long time ago...and didn't charge me a cent.

Question...I lost track of Elmer when I left the music profession. I wonder if
he is still around. I believe he was near retirement age when I knew him back
in the 70's. Can anyone enlighten me?
