I'm considering buying a used Eb clarinet. I haven't found one yet, I am just
now starting to look. If you have one let me know what it is, how it is and
what the price is. From my limited experience I have the perception that
playing one in tune is very difficult. I do not have a good ear for what
changes need to be made while playing so I need to make the instrument work as
well as possible so as not to offend my peers, coductor and audience. I have
heard that a Buffet Eb with XYZ barrel and ABC mouthpiece makes an Eb play as
well as a good Bb. Any comments on this as well as recommendations? All
"better" brands of clarinets considered.
