Taking lessons is worthwhile at any age. You recover your old playing
skills faster. If you have never had lessons, they can help you to
eliminate bad habits you never new about. You can explore new abilities.
With a good teacher, lessons as an adult can be a lot of fun.

Look into joining a community band. They are always looking for players.
