Ah. . .Klezmer. The only definition I can give you is "Jewish Clarinet
stuff". . because I'm not quite sure what it is, either. I think it is
the Jewish form of american Jazz. Pretty Crazy. Have you ever heard it?
There's some klezmer licks in "Fiddler on the Roof". I played clarinet in
the orchestra for that show in my high school last year. That music is
pretty rough. It's a lot of clarinet, and a lot of sharps! (Ugh. The
"Bottle Dance" in the wedding scene is in 4 or 6 sharps. I can't remember
which.. but it was still a lot for me. . I was only 15!)
