I have an O'Brien crystal #3* clarinet mouthpiece, it does have a small air
bubble in it, it's of no consequence ("cosmetic blemish only"). After some
minor refacing, it plays fine. Interestingly, I also have a John Denman
crystal #3 mouthpiece (my main mouthpiece), which appears to use the same
blank as the O'Brien. I don't know who makes the blanks, but both
mouthpieces were inexpensive and both (after refacing) suit me just fine.
