Everything changes when you say the doubler word!!!!

All kidding aside, the Vandoren JB is designed specifically with jazz in
mind - the more open mouthpiece, the longer facing, etc etc. But - to use
it for classical playing might be a grave error - you would have great
difficulty controlling the sound and pitch in a way as to be interesting
to a classical audience - the rub here is that you will always feel more
comfortable on the mouthpiece - but it is, ultimately, how you sound to
others in that particular genre that will determine a mouthpiece's
qualities! (that was very generally stated by the way - I probably should
take more time in expressing this point......but hey, it's Saturday, and
the pep band is ordering pizza at the game today - I'm in a quick mood!).
