>From my experience, there is almost no difference between the Noblet and the
Normandy, except for the quality of the case. They all have the same bore
size and characteristics. I find that they are excellent instruments for
beginners, but the bore is large, so you may prefer the Buffet of Yamaha
student lines. I personally don't like the sound of the Signet and don't
like any of the plastic models. The Normandy and Noblet clarinets will hold
up much better and require much fewer adjustments. Two LeBlanc clarinets
that are not terribly are the Vito VSP and the LeBlanc Sonata. Both of
these have the same size as the more expensive LeBlancs.
