So Scott, have you considered the possibilities for a plot for a new play
here. It could be a murder mystery wherein the nefarious villain does in
his/her victims by plating (or coating) the keys of their clarinets with some
poisonous substance. You could call it "The Grenadilla (poetic license here
because it is the keys that would be the source of doom) Murders" or "Death
by Licorice" (Delicious!) or "Murder in Bb" or even "Arsenic and Old
Reeds," or ... (Okay, I'll stop but I want a share of the royalties if you
get it produced!)
