Hi Shelly,

Welcome to the list. Hope you enjoy it and your return to playing! From
what I have seen for sale on the eBay auction, I infer that, if "Normandy" is
in large letters or, at least, in the logo, you probably have a Leblanc
(Noblet) Normandy, a student model wooden clarinet. It is generally
comparable to the Selmer CL100 (Signet 100) or the Buffet E11 (German
Evette). From the Leblanc web page, I get the impression that it is now
marketed as the Leblanc Normandy. At one time, however, I believe it was
marketed as the low-end of the Leblanc Noblet line and the designation was
Noblet Normandy rather than Leblanc Normandy. In theory it is not as "good"
an instrument as the Leblanc Noblet (intermediate line, models 40 and 45).
However, if you like it and it plays well for you, who cares?

Best regards,
Jack Kissinger
