Subj: [kl] Some old clarinet parts
Date: Thu, 5 Nov 1998 22:26:52 -0500

Hi Klarinetters,

I have just bought a very scruffy old clarinet which looks rather like parts
assembled from several old horns. I wonder if anyone can help my identify
them...

1. Main joints wood stamped 319092 with no obvious maker name.
2. Selmer Paris C* mouthpiece. (No problem with that!)
3. Bell from Boosey & Hawkes Regent. (No problem there either)
4. Barrel green and not wood with the name Martin .... faintly visible.
5. Case marked Cheney England with fragments of an old label that could be
Selmer.

Any ideas anyone, especially the two main joints.

Hopefully,
Graeme Cox
