Ed,
I noticed you're reading mail from a Windows platform. If you have a
sound card, then chances are just about 100% that you have a MIDI
player. If you're using either Netscape or MSIE, the MIDI player should
launch when you load a file ending in .mid . If you don't have any
browser, then you'll have to figure out your soundcard software.

If you don't have a sound card then you'll need to trek on down to your
local computer store & buy one. They're unbelievably cheap (and the
cheap ones sound unbelievable, but useful nonetheless. As long as you
like clarinets with vibrato :)
