Clark Fobes mentioned his Debut mouthpiece (and his fantastic offer to
educators - or is it -ers - Dee?). I have not tried this mouthpiece, but I
do own a student mouthpiece (as a backup - and a quality one at that) made
by another member of Klarinet - David Hite's Premier. While this is
slightly too free-blowing for my regular playing, it is good enough to be a
backup. My father, who has been on a 30 year hiatus from clarinet also owns
one, and he sounds better on it than his 40-year-old Selmer stock
mouthpiece. I don't have the specific demensions for this mouthpiece, so I
can't compare it to the (seemingly rejected) B45 by Vandoren.
