I'm not a clarinet teacher but I am a student of clarinet repair. Like Roger,
I like the plastic Evette (by Buffet) but I also like Vito (by Leblanc) very
much. They are very free blowing and yet can produce a good tone if you
"listen" as you play the notes. I'm not familiar with Yamaha clarinets...yet.
