Abe REALLY has created a useful innovation, Ed. With ZERO fanfare, "The
Galper
System" on my Buffet R13 made its public debut yesterday at the Blue Bird
Café
in Wakefield, RI. The Blue Bird is a popular restaurant in my home town.
Playing in a duo with my flutist friend Lee, I had no problems with
intonation. Surprisingly (because we're strictly background music), the
diners
broke into applause several times during the hour that we played. That was a
little embarrassing because we're not used to it. But I smiled inside
thinking
of Abe winging his way to Israel...
